Dynamite! I was completely satisfied with everything from OpExcellence. From the initial phone call I made to set an appointment for a quote, to JB personally climbing a ladder to get a limb off a power line that had nothing to do with the job I called them for. As an Army retiree myself I was pleased to find that JB was also a retired Army Vet. Knowing what I know about the mission accomplishment above all else mentality, I felt confident out of the gate. His crew showed up not on time, but a day early because JB assessed the day and realized the winds were too high for the one job he had scheduled and moved mine in its place. That’s business efficiency and effective use of time. The guys started later in the afternoon but once they started there was no stopping. They dropped the enormouse oak and laid it down smoothly with hardly a divot in the ground. Having a wood burning fireplace I requested to retain some of the wood. His guys were more than happy to cut each piece in 18in lengths and stacked them perfectly for me. I even made a special request that they cut a 4 in thick section from the base of the trunk because I told them my plans to make a live edge table top in my wood shop. Without question, his best sawman sliced a perfect piece that will without doubt look beautiful when finished. As darkness fell the job was not quite complete but JBs mission first attitude wasn’t going to allow him to stop until the job was complete. So, the stump grinder came off the trailer and in a matter of minutes the massive stump was taken below surface, the grindings were cleaned up and the worksite was leveled out with the blade of the trackhoe. Whatever your need in the tree service arena OpExcellence is your crew. I will end with the same word I started with…Dynamite!

J. B. Came right out, assessed my tree issue and gave me a quote to remove the tree. Wonderful experiences with this company both for tree removal and buying firewood. On time, polite, very reasonably priced. When removing trees from my yard they were very careful of surrounding structures and even blew all the pine straw off my roof while they were up there. Then raked it all up and took it away with all the rest of the tree debris. Left my yard looking better than when they arrived. Firewood was delivered and stacked neatly in my garage, which is not easy to get to down a long narrow driveway. Overall exceptional service, highly recommend.

We had a dead tree that needed to be taken down. Mr Brasfield came out and gave us an estimate the same day my husband called and came to take it down the next day! I was nervous because it was close to the house but also our fence! They arrived on time and it was really amazing watching them work! Had a 40 foot oak tree at a 5-degree tilt, between two houses.
Opexcellence arrived and started promptly at 9 am.
Crew of 6. This was a seasoned crew, that knew each other. I never saw anyone standing around waiting.
Climber was an expert. Each branch had a double tie off used to lower branch to the ground. None of the branches ever came close to hitting a roof.
It took crew approximately 4.5 hour to lay the entire tree on the ground. After an hour for lunch. The crew spent three hours cleaning everything up. Cleanup included the roof and any ground area front or back where a part of the tree was laid down.
If I had it to do again, I wouldn’t have raked all the leaves in the area a few weeks prior!
For those that do not know. For SAFETY. I called SWEPCO three days earlier and set up a work order. On the day the tree came down, SWEPCO came out and disconnected the power to the house next door. The power line was within ten feet of the tree. After lunch, SWEPCO came back out and reconnected the power. This is a free service.
By the way, Of the four establishments I called to get quotes, Opexcellence was the lowest bid.
I wouldn’t hesitate to call, if I need to remove a tree in the future.

Words cannot express how much we appreciate Mr. JB and his crew’s rapid response and outstanding service. Lightning struck an 80-foot pine tree in our backyard, breaking it in half from top to bottom. We called five tree removal companies, and Mr. JB was the first to respond with a free quote. He instantly realized the tree’s potential harm and scheduled an appointment for the following day. Mr. JB and his very professional crew arrived promptly and safely cut down the hazardous tree, hauled away the debris, and restored our property to its original condition, for which we are eternally thankful. After calling several business for firewood. I decided to go with Mr. Jonathanâ s Company because he was polite and gave me the best quote. He even agreed to deliver the firewood on Christmas Eve. When Mr. Jonathan and his son came to deliver the firewood. They were on time with a nice greeting which included a smile on their face. I was very surprised about the amount of firewood I received. It was so much that him and his son had to make a large pile on the side of my wood rack. Also they clean up afterwards. This is a picture of some of the firewood they delivered in December

Extremely happy with JB and his crew. We were looking for a new tree service, and Mr. Jonathan was the quickest to respond to our request for an estimate. Not only that, but the price we agreed on was so fair that I canceled all other quote requests, and immediately hired him. When he heard that we were on a very tight schedule he offered to work on Sunday. Everything was done absolutely perfectly, and the yard was left very clean. I very much appreciated how hard they were trying not cause any damage to our lawn when taking down an 80ft pine tree.

OP Excellence removed a large tree from my rental property on 4/15/2025. It was a difficult tree to remove because of the proximity to the house. They removed the tree like “Champs.” There was no damage to our property, and they even cleaned the yard after completions. The crew was polite as well. I will definitely use OpExcellence for my next project.
